On 1 January 2010, ESL reporting becomes mandatory for Companies, running intra-Community deliveries.

Up until the end of their sales accounting period for calendar 2009, companies must provide an ESL on a calendar quarterly basis. From 1 January 2010, businesses will have to submit an ESL for services as well as goods and the standard frequency for all ESLs - whether goods, services or both - will be monthly.
